And yet, the earth continued to spin on its axis. The stick, meanwhile, occupies a place buried amongst other stuff in my garage.

You know why I participated? Because it's something VERY close to me because I was suicidal in high school. I was bullied a lot in high school, so that's why I did it. I am sorry if that breaks your moral codes Snark Shark .... but to me, you are nothing more than the bullies that pushed me around and thought they were better than everyone in high school.

You will do whatever you need to to bully people to get your way. Sorry if I supported Suicide Prevention. How about you get a heart and stop bullying people you complete jerk.

It’s an emotional topic for you. That emotion clouds your judgment on a clear-cut issue.

Nobody argues with me on the actual issue. I get pleas to emotion and the “well the earth kept on spinning” excuse.

I’m sorry you were suicidal. When you are working as a reporter, however, you shouldn’t be participating in a school fundraiser, regardless of the cause.

And don’t accuse me of being a bully and then call me names.

I know, I know. I’m the bad guy.

I was a guest coach along with my competitor at a high school basketball midnight madness type event. His team beat mine and I got Teed up. Had a blast.

Oh no, did I call you a jerk after you called me unprofessional for donating to a charity? Toughen up you bully because you have no problem calling everyone else out so how about you grow a pair then. Especially for someone that calls themselves Snark Shark, meaning you embrace your role as a bully and a troll.

Let me ask you this, did you get pay to get into every event that you covered or did you use a press pass?

I think the critique against reporters getting free access to games is at least a defensible position.

See, this is what we do on this forum, discuss journalism issues. No need to resort to emotional outbursts because your feelings are hurt.

Not according to what you have said on this thread. So you didn't pay to attend these games that you covered? You got in for free huh ... so you got special treatment to cover the games because you didn't pay. You crossed a line that you setup yourself. You criticize everyone for all of this stuff but you didn't pay to get into games.

I don't think you should have to, but based on the ground rules you have set, you should've paid to get in because you received a special treatment to get into the games.

I hope you were able to provide unbias coverage because of that treatment, but I doubt you were able to based on your posts.

Speaking of school fundraisers, I forgot about the couple of times that I bought a candy bar at a game, with the proceeds to go towards a school club.

Yeah, I know. I should have spent my time hunting around for a vending machine. Or, would that also mean I was showing support to a school that I cover since it's their vending machine?

Getting back to the start of this thread, you shouldn't be eating junk at games any way. Pack a healthy snack you disgusting fatbody.

do you pay to cover any event? If not, it’s an apples to oranges comparison.
