Why do you care that he doesn't care that Asner cares?

My favorite recent Ed Asner clip was him going on MSNBC late last year, and asking the host for a kiss (twice). ... before she preceded to verbally fellate him for being such a forward-thinking man and she then interviewed him about women being sexually harassed.

My great fear is the precedent for lying, incompetence, and generally idiocy that he's established for future presidents—of both parties. I just hope the next person in that office is noble and given the chance to make the necessary corrections.

I hope Trump is an anomaly and not the future norm, in other words.

I once had to interview him, back when I was just starting out, for a story I was writing about anti-dairy activists. I spent 30 minutes getting shouted at by Ed Asner about the sins of dairy consumption. He was nice enough but very, very passionate. The man really fucking hates milk.

I also interviewed Rikki Rockett of Poison that day for the same story.

I came home and my roommates asked me about my day, and I was like, I think this job might be really fucking weird.

I propose a Constitutional amendment that mandates that you must get elected to and hold a lower office for at least four years before you run for president. Slam that damn door on celebrities who don't know the first thing about governing.

Would you make an exception for say, Eisenhower and Grant? They held pretty big government jobs.

Yes. If you helped win a major war, you can get a dispensation.
