Preakness week?

 

After wearing hockey skates multiple times a week for 20 years, I haven’t worn them regularly in a while (kid, money, job, lazy, etc.).

My feet have recovered. I used to have calluses on my heels that my friends would call talons and pretty big ones on the sides of my toes. They’re pretty much gone now, but I still have this weird bony thing (which is actually a thing! Haglund’s Deformity: Otherwise Known as the Bauer Bump). If I ever go back to wearing skates regularly again, my feet are going to be fucked.
