I know there have been good and bad men in the presidency, but I still can't believe someone so profoundly stupid holds that office right now. He is so fucking dumb and incurious and simple. It's like if Big were still about Tom Hanks playing a grown-up child but he was also the president.

I've said this 100 times on here, but I'll say it again: For 30 years, give or take, I thought the whole nation was in on the joke that Donald Trump was basically a cartoon character representation of a rich guy. I'm still stunned, really, that some significant number of sentient grown-ups were apparently taking his act at face value for all these decades.

 

What's really funny is that Trump missed the start of the National Anthem because he stopped to ogle the cheerleaders. Seriously.
