    Go hiking. It's harder going downhill than uphill because you use muscles in a different way going down than up. The ones at my gym only go to a 3 percent decline, which is nothing like walking down from the top of Multnomah Falls.

    Day 28 on the 100 days. Pushups are much easier now than when I started. I hope by the end of the 100 days that I'm able to crank out 30-40 pushups at a time.

    70 minutes, 1,500 calories. Lots of sweat.

    Yes, I hike. And it's hard to go downhill. But it's also hard to hit yourself in the nuts with a hammer. I still wouldn't recommend it. I've never really heard of anybody training on a decline. It's hard on your joints and the cardio benefits are limited.

    Well, I don't need "benefits" ... I simply do it for a quick break from fast-walking at 15 incline.

    I know. You explained that. The other guy was talking about benefits. It's a new concept to me.

    50 minutes, 850 calories. I'll make it up tomorrow.

    70 minutes, 1,616 calories. Did 60 minutes of 4.2/15 on the treadmill which accounted for 1,476 of the calories.

    Took yesterday off to rest. Hate Sunday because it opens at 8. So I did 40 minutes at 4.2/15 and burned 996.

    75 minutes, 1,711 calories.
