That’s going to be the play if they go through with it. It will be the Donald Trump Military Parade presented by Trump Hotels, with everything painted gold. Each soldier will genuflect to Trump as they pass. But somewhere within a radius of the parade, someone will whisper the phrase “for the troops” and the official talking point will be that the purpose of the parade is to honor the troops and anyone who objects hated soldiers and roots for ISIS to come impose shariah law.

So are you voting next election or not?

 

I think a French-like military parade would be cool. All those soldiers marching backward and tanks in reverse. The parade marshal could videoconference from London.

 

I plan to vote, yes. I will almost certainly vote for the Democratic candidate. I think that Trump is a circus clown, and the Democratic platform aligns closer, in most instances, with my position on various issues. But I'm not really a member of the team, if that makes sense. I'm a voter but not an activist who has planted his flag.

 

I feel the same way.

 

I'm pretty sure there was a character on The Wire named Cheddar Man. There should have been, anyway.
