    If ...

But it's not like there aren't plenty Veterans Day celebrations already.

Right. So what's all the wailing about then?

The tanks. And that there hasn't been official word that it would be held on Veteran's Day. It may just be on some random day.

Plus the cost, which highlights how the troops who are supposed to be feel rated are coming home without the resources to take care of them.

    What's wrong with tanks?

The vanity issue. Trump wants to be seen accepting salutes on the reviewing stand.

Well, for one thing, the media was in one for Obama apparently.

Why don't you ask the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto, the Hungarians in 1956, or the Chinese in 1989?

I guess we have to wait and see. Is he thinking of holding it on Veteran's Day? Fourth of July? National Bone Spur Awareness Day?

A military parade in the United States not attached to a calendar event - like Veteran's Day or Memorial Day or the Fourth of July - or to a return of troops from combat, would rightly be seen as a vanity.

Is this some new post-Trump protocol? Does it only apply to female members of the military?

Right. I'm specifically asking about a hypothetical Veterans Day parade.

"Baron, I'm placing a rake right in front of you. See it? OK, good. Don't take another step. Got it?"

    *Baron steps forcefully on rake*
