This little white kid from Gate City, Va., is going to Georgetown and he's going to be a sensation.

Too bad we can’t arrange a Battle of Bristol II between the Wahoos and Vols, both are looking like pretty damn good squads.

This is where someone can dig up my prediction that UVA’s 30-point loss to Tennessee in 2013 would be the beginning of the end of Bennett’s tenure. That one aged well.

I watched some of BC-Notre Dame last night and BC is on the upswing. They return all three of their guards next year, and Jerome Robinson deserves real consideration for a first-team all-ACC spot. He’s unstoppable. 46 points on 23 shots. That’s a top-four ACC team next year if they get any kind of decent post play.

The problem with Bristol is all the arenas in the area seat between 6,000 and 9,000. It would be a fun series though. Maybe if not a home-and-home they could do DC and Nashville.

@Donny in his element - your boys are looking good for the upset here. They’re hitting everything.

Or use Cassel Coliseum. It's not being used, for the most part.

    Seriously though, how about Roanoke?

Roanoke doesn't really have the kind of arena worth scheduling a neutral site game at either. And it wouldn't be as in the middle at Bristol. It would basically be a UVa home game.

Really, the only decent arena of any size in the entire state of Virginia is in Charlottesville. The Seigel Center is great, but too small to get any big events.

And FYI, No. 1 is on the ropes while No. 2 is trying to escape right now.

Something about St. John’s that’s changed here lately?
