This gets to the heart of one of the main problems of Trump and his supporters.

If a liberal journalist, or a Black Lives Matter activist, or a Democratic politician made even a quarter as many false accusations as Trump, much of the right would be apoplectic, cite it as evidence of the moral bankruptcy of their opponents, and righteously insist on the perpetrator’s termination and shaming.

Their acceptance of Trump’s irresponsible and blatantly false accusations is discrediting––a sign that they have abandoned the moral and civic standards that they purport to believe and in some cases still think of themselves as believing.

You seem like a genuinely nice guy, Baron, but, geez, you can be astoundingly ignorant at times.

How were they to know who the leader of a dictatorial, terrorist, Islamic state would invite to his dinner party?

Republicans have been hypocrites for decades; Trump is a result, not a cause.

Look, if the ROK and NK start getting along, and NK stops this nuclear shit, that will be a major accomplishment in this 2017-2021 window no matter who you give the credit too. Get it done.

    "Our?"

Reuters is an international wire service based in London.

In this case quoting a former South Korea foreign minister.

In a story about the diplomatic dynamic of the Olympic Games.

Not sure where the upset arises.

Here's one from Reuters quoting a famous American IOC member that the combined Korea hockey team be nominated for the Nobel Prize.

Exclusive: U.S. IOC member suggests joint Korean team for Nobel Peace

    Grrr.

I knew this one was coming...

Fair. But, they’re still from a western democracy, and the fawning over the “Ivanka Trump” of North Korea, and their synchronized cheer team has been grotesque.

And, I could give you examples from CNN, the WaPo, ABC, and the WSJ if Reuters doesn’t satisfy you.

WaPo, CNN, WSJ, NYT among major outlets writing fawning stories over Kim Jung Un’s sister, the NK cheerleading team, etc. You follow the news; you know this.

    Then please complain about those.

This story doesn't conform to the complaint.
