That was a fun game last night. Hopefully that gets Tech firmly out of play-in game land.

That's what Bilas seemed to think.

Why are they airing a selection special on Feb. 11? Why on earth is UVA the top overall seed after the stinker they put up 18 hours ago? And how is Sparty not a 1 or 2?

UVA still has the best overall resume and Michigan State only has only a couple good wins, none on the road.

Does Georgia Tech suck? Duke is shitting all over them ... and without Bagley.

Yes. They’re 2-11 in conference play.

This is kind of cool. Top from 2016, bottom from last night.

Becuase seeding doesn’t have a ton to do with what happened yesterday.

UVA has eight top-50 wins, on loss outside the top 50 (56)

MSU’s third-best won by RPI is Nebraska (55), though the three losses are all to good teams.

Looks like the Andy Kennedy era is over at Ole Miss. He's been there since 2006, and they're heading toward their first losing season on his watch after losing seven of the last eight with a couple of blowouts sprinkled in.
He did a great job raising a moribund program up to mediocrity, and got more mileage out of a bunch of NIT appearances than perhaps any coach in NCAA history.

Get your Christmas shopping out of the way early, Vom!

I bitched at Gee and stand by it, but this is painfully thirsty. I liked the poster they put out when they were ranked #1 in football in 1990 because there’s no way UVA will ever get there again. This is just, well, sad.

Yeah, #1 in football meant so much more in the grand scheme of things.

#1 in the AP poll is literally, absolutely meaningless. And I say this as a three-time AP voter.
