I really don't think an assassin has any chance in hell to get close to trump.

    Interesting journalism question here.

Porter blamed ex-wife's black eye on a fall in off-the-record meeting with reporters

Politico is reporting that Porter played the old "she fell into a doorknob" line with Haberman (NYT), Swan (Axios), Josh Dawsey (Wash Post) and Michael Bender (WSJ). But that he confirmed he called her a "fucking bitch" in a meeting Sanders set up to try and explain away the allegations of abuse.

    1. How awful is Sanders at her job if she literally believed this meeting would help either Porter or the White House?

    2. At what point are these reporters no longer held to this ridiculous Off The Record agreement, despite the fact that they were clearly lied to, and now another outlet scoops them on the information? Don't you try to confirm some of these details elsewhere? What is the point of attending this OTR meeting if it becomes clear the information is a lie, and you still must take it to your grave?

Everyone looks terrible here, except maybe Politico.

Pence not standing for the the North Korean team is somehow not a gentleman's move as per @Inky_Wretch

According to Liberals, kneeling for your own flag is somehow brave, not standing for another country, is a bad thing??? I'm sorry, that's not only incredibly hypocritical, but shows a lack of cognitive skills and critical thinking skills. Anyone with an even average intelligence should be able to distinguish between the two, and most fair minded people would at least be consistent. Either find them both wrong, or both right, if you are going to conflate the two.

Again, for the people in the back. One is our countries flag, the other isn't. To compare the two, as if they should somehow get the same treatment, is well, dumb.

South Korea isn't offended by this lack of a "gentleman's move". LOL.

The guy who fired Mooch has lost the Mooch. It’ll be anytime now for Kelly’s ouster.

For all we know, Sanders thought it was a good idea to tell Politico that Porter spun this line of thinking.

More likely someone else in the comms staff decided to shank her too.
