The most overrated movies of the past 50 years. Aren’t the extended versions more than 4 hours apiece?

His King Kong is even worse in the excess department.

Jackson's King Kong is perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen in the theater.

That is probably true, though if you were old enough to see the originals in the theater like I am, nostalgia may be a part of that.

It also helped that Ford, Fisher and Hamill had amazing chemistry. None of the heroes in the current trilogy have anything close to it.

I take it you didn't make it out to Ernest Goes to Camp?

Know what I mean, Vern? was better than King Kong, but not as good as The King of Kong.

The absence of Lando (even in a side reference between characters) in the reboot sequel is odd. It would be good if given the character's presence in the Solo movie, the character appears in the next chapter.

    Rian Johnson agrees.

Hopefully they make it happen. I haven't seen Billy Dee make any public appearances in a long time, and he is 80, so I'm not sure if he's able to pull it off anymore, but it would be fun to see him again.

Williams has said he is willing and he did provide Lando's voice for the animated Rebels series. I think he could manage it. It's not like they have to give him an action scene. Then again, Christopher Lee was even older when he played Count Dooku the second time. He was 83 when Revenge of the Sith came out.

I didn't see Jackson's 'King Kong' in the theater, but it is very bad.
'Van Helsing' is the worst movie I've ever seen in the theater.
'The Road to Wellville' is also up there, maybe 1A.

Miss Sloane. You've seen this movie before in different forms. Don't know if I've seen one done better due to the performances by Chastain, Mark Strong and others.
