But all other countries are safer than the U.S., so you must be mistaken.

@YankeeFan, I’m curious as to how you would explain why Russia preferred a President Donald Trump over a President Hillary Clinton?

It’s been instructive to see how limited in scope the “do something” crowd is when it comes to protecting children.

I doubt it’s been instructive to you, you just don’t care about children, just controlling women, because they ignore you socially

Let me re-post these, since you continue not to see them.

You want more security at school? Great.

    What about everywhere else?

    - a searchable national gun registry. Buy too many too quickly, get a visit from ATF.

    - a searchable national registry for ammunition. Buy to much too quickly, get a visit from ATF.

    - limit magazine capacity to 10. Anyone found using, selling, importing or manufacturing magazines in excess of 10 rounds does automatic Federal time.

    - 30-day mandatory waiting period for every gun everywhere.

    - mandatory psych profile in advance of first gun purchase.

    - ban combat-caliber weapons like the AK-47 and the AR-15 and variants

    - mandatory psych profile update every 5 years as part of national or state licensing procedure.

    - no sales at 'gun shows.'Losing his daughter is an undeniable tragedy,

    - no private gun sales, except on consignment through federally licensed gun sellers.

    - $1000 per gun federal/state/local buyback program. No questions asked.

Because she was the frontrunner. This isn't hard. It's why they also supported Bernie Sanders.

If you're trying to sow distrust in our elections, you don't help promote the frontrunner.

They wanted it to look like Trump had more support than he did, so that when he lost, he and his supporters would have cause to claim the election was "rigged", or "stolen".

And, it's why, once Trump actually won, they switched strategies, and worked to discredit him -- with the full cooperation of the Democratic Party and the left wing media.

There are a great many schools in the US. Providing armed security for all of them would cost tens of billions of dollars a year. Who'd pay? Probably have to be the feds.

Turns out they have nothing to fear. If you vote a certain way, the Falwells of the world will become apologists.

So the Trump Campaign’s myriad Russian connections and their insistence that the only plank they wanted changed in the GOP platform went to benefit Russia and Trump’s refusal to sign the sanctions and his insistence for months that the intelligence agencies were wrong and his recent meetings with Russian diplomats and his refusal to say one negative thing about Russia are all just coincidences?

Again, I don't necessarily disagree with most of these. We can quibble about the specifics, but the general direction is good.

But, what about the tougher steps? The ones that infringe on the first amendment?

What about regulating violent video games, especially first person shooter games? What about voluntary, or even mandatory, policy of not reporting the name of the shooter? We've seen that there is a copycat nature to these crimes. We've seen that fame/infamy is part of the motivation. And, we've seen many of these shooters have had a fascination with previous shooters, especially the Columbine shooters.

What about mandatory reporting for mental health professionals when someone under their care, ends treatment, or stops taking their meds?
