Mod pizza nearby. Never had it. What’s the deal?

Really good personal pizza fast casual place, one in which there are no per-topping charges unlike some of the competition. Get as many as you want. Good crust, good cheese.

I'll also give a thump's up for Mod Pizza. One set price for a personal pizza (that's decent sized), so load on the toppings. Quality is pretty good, and it takes about five minutes to bake it.

    EDIT: *thumb's*

And Donny, many a night of covering prep B-ball in the boondocks of Iowa began with a slice of Casey's pizza!

Steak n' Shake and it's not even close. Best steakburgers, best fries in the world, and damn good milkshakes.

Freddy's is similar and most of them still serve Pepsi.

After that, they're pretty much the same to me, though places like Perkins and Cracker Barrel are a nice deviation from the norm. And if I'm in Oklahoma or Texas, I'm looking for a Whataburger.

As for Taco Bell, I do miss the chilitos (or chili-cheese burritos, as they're called everywhere but California).

I eat way too much Casey's pizza, as it's really greasy. I prefer Hunt Bros., which you can get in some service station/mini-marts. Best pizza this side of Little Sneezers.

I'm convinced there is no better breakfast food out there than a slice of Casey's pizza. Prefer the straight bacon option.

Jersey Mikes isn't great, but that shouldn't matter if you have Chick filA and Mission BBQ.

Cracker Barrel -- awesome chicken and dumplings
Freddy's -- great thin and crispy burger and awesome thin fries
Which Wich -- love the chicken sandwich with pickles, caramelized onions and Swiss cheese
PDQ -- favorite tenders place, just ahead of Slim Chickens and Cane's
Halal Guys -- hummus, chicken doner
    McDonald's -- good ol' standby
Taco Bell -- frito burrito and nachos bell grande
    Freebirds -- burritos and chips
Cici's -- cheap pizza buffet with many non-red sauce choices

    I could go on, but...

I love Steak N Shake's chili. Get the chili and dip the fries in it...so good.

I can also proudly state that I haven't eaten Taco Bell since I moved back to Texas four years ago. Taco Bueno, Taco Casa and Taco Cabana make Taco Bell look foolish.
