People who don’t know how to walk in a crowd. They stop at the top of the escalator, slowly walk five across so no one can pass and just stop in the middle of a moving crowd to check their phone or chat with their group.

Gosh, I guess I don’t even consider Western Europe “foreign.” I was thinking of those places when as soon as, or even before, the light turns green they lay on the horn. Even if the intersection is completely blocked and there is no way anyone can move.

And on that topic, I’m irked by the idiots who, even though the intersection is blocked, will still “make” the yellow so once it goes red no one else moves, either.

I want a giant guillotine to slam down when it turns red. None of those pansy cameras.

 

I have an incredible hatred toward the word "offload." I know it's in the dictionary and everything, but it just doesn't sound right. Nothing is ever "onloaded," so why would it be offloaded? It's "load" and "unload."

Also, it irritates me that the Charlie Brown thread died such an early death, Charlie Brown.

 

“Fuck with” now means almost the exact opposite of what it used to.

“Don’t fuck with that guy” used to mean “don’t mess with him.”

Now “don’t fuck with that guy” means “don’t hang with him.”

What the fuck is with that?
