I guess you just like Eli Saslow's writing. ;)

I do very much like his writing. Hard to read that and not feel empathy for the woman, unless you're blinded by partisanship. And I feel the same about Kathleen Wiley.

Do you feel at all like you are giving in to the "Stick to sports!" crowd?

I haven't read it yet, to be honest.

Just seemed outside the spirit of your new guidelines.

This is pretty shitty and partisan, even for you.

    What?

I’m just giving him some shit because he linked to an article that was political.

I’d still imagine that’s just the kind of thing that would lead to folks bitching to him.

“You tweeted this out, why won’t you tweet out ‘X’”?

You italicized writing and added the passive-aggressive smiley that we all add when we're kidding but not really kidding. You know what you did and why you did it and that you wouldn't have done it if it was about Katherine Willey.

    No. No. No.

I wrote it that way to differentiate between the politics of article.

I only meant to playfully mock DD for linking to an obvious political article.

No different than joking that someone reads Playboy for the articles.

My skepticism remains, but fine, both of us have made our points and we can move on. I have no interest in derailing a social media thread in which the underlying theme is how easy it is to get derailed on social media.

Wait. Was this some kind of long con where you got off Twitter to get me off Twitter and now you've gone back on Twitter? Goddamn you.

Did it this time for real. Logged out of Facebook and Twitter. Removed FB from my phone. The only feed up on my tweetdeck is the work feed and mentions. Twitter is still on my phone but I'm only logged in on my work account, and I'll only access when we need to post something. Still have Instagram, because it's pretty much all positive vibes. But that's it. Let's see how it goes. I'm just fucking sick of the negativity. Everywhere. Life isn't supposed to be lived that way.
