Of course he is. He's implying that the students at the WH are not "strong", and are not speaking truth to power, as their more public, stronger classmates would have.

They're so pathetic, that the WH is accused of cowardice for recruiting them, instead of their classmates.

No, he’s not. He said Hogg and Gonzalez have been public and strong, and they have. That doesn’t necessarily imply the others are not strong.

He attacked no one but the White House.

    You overplayed your hand here.

Not at all. He didn't just say that the event missed the voices of Hogg and Gonzalez, he accused the WH of cowardice, because the kids invited weren't strong like their classmates.

I do give Trump credit for the WH event today with the survivors families. Sure, you can say it was something he needed to do - but there is a lot of stuff he needs to do (and doesn't). Especially coming before the CNN thing tonight. And I actually think there might be some movement on gun laws and how things are done. Updating registries, gun violence studies, adding names to background checks.
Should be an interesting week in DC. Day One of CPAC and we have our first "casualty."

So, in what way was the WH guilty of cowardice?

If the students at this event were "strong", Hogg and Gonzalez' absence wouldn't be so glaring.

I don't have too many problems with Billy Graham. Franklin Graham, on the other hand...

    Hogg was invited, but declined.

He didn't invite the kids who disagreed with him and were likely to make trouble. That doesn't mean the kids who were invited aren't strong.
