Any state in America could ban alcohol sales today if it wanted to.

 

Too bad CNN didn’t discover this before allowing the sheriff to lay the blame for the shooting on the NRA and republican politicians.

 

The blame for the shooting goes to the shooter. The blame for weapons of war being easily available goes to the NRA and the Republicans.

That student's comment was bad. I don't begrudge these kids speaking out. They're rightly emotional and angry, but that doesn't mean that anything they say is imbued with a moral authority that cannot be questioned. Statements like that are at the heart of why the gun "debate" is a joke.

 

I would love to go back and take a diehard 1980s Reaganite, transport him to the present day, show him that his party is now pro-Russia and anti-FBI, and watch his head explode.
