I get that the current talking point is that libtards are so stupid about guns AND LOOK AT THIS DUMB LIBTARD HE WOULD BAN A SIX SHOOTER UNDER HIS PROPSAL!!!111 But I’m pretty confident people can figure out the precise parameters that captures the weapons it should capture while mountain men in Montana will still be able to blow away elk.

    The “gotcha” game is tiresome.

That's nothing; our president doesn't live in Moscow but represents it.

LOL. Rick Santorum didn't live in Pennsylvania either.

It used to be a much more popular option. Law makers moved to DC, and raised their families there. Remember, Al Gore went to school in DC, not Tennessee.

The three day work week, and better transportation has made commuting the preferred option now.

And, members are either rich enough to maintain two residences, have multiple roommates, or sleep in their office.

The "gotcha" game is only tiresome because democrats, who have had years to study the issue, and come up with reasonable restrictions, that might be able to attract support, include rifles like this every time they actually propose legislation.

They tout the wide support for a ban on "assault weapons" and then propose legislation that goes well beyond what the public supports. This is why no one trusts them on these issues.

If @Inky_Wretch can't support your proposal, you've gone too far.

    Dealmaker!

The White House has confirmed that the administration has reached a deal with Boeing for two new Air Force One planes, according to NBC News.

"President Trump has reached an informal deal with Boeing on a fixed price contract for the new Air Force One Program," a White House spokesman said. "Thanks to the President's negotiations, the contract will save the taxpayers more than $1.4 Billion."

The deal between the White House and Boeing is expected to total $3.9 billion.
    ...
The original estimate for the two new planes and their development program totaled over $5 billion. The White House credited Trump's negotiations with the aircraft manufacturer for the smaller bill in the final deal.

It's an attempt to shut down debate by trying to make the other side look stupid.

If only there was something the other side could do to prevent such a response.

Delta can just casually drop a hint they’ll be moving their HQ to Memphis and the legislature will STFU quickly.

Perfection? That's the standard. Otherwise, you'll (the collective "you") find something to nitpick. It's what you have right now.

    LOL.

Forget the collusion = there was no collusion.

    Perfection? Really?

C'mon. You've admitted that the Democrats are not conversant on this issue.

And, if someone was making similarly poor arguments regarding other rights, you would dismiss them until they came back with a proper understanding of the issue.
