IIRC he was told not to make a movement toward the eagle. Idiot.

I have seen more than a few give this as a reason for the breakdown in their "society". They use to form relationships with each other and their families did to. It is way to easy to fight when you don't have that foundation. (just like message boards!)

Ugh. Parscale worked closely with Cambridge Analytica doing microtargeting. I know that Mueller has looked at his operation. It wouldn't surprise me to see him catch an indictment before it's over.

Trump picks Parscale to run 2020 campaign

We place common sense exceptions on many things in the Bill of Rights, including Freedom of Speech.

Not sure why the 2nd Amendment is immune.

Nor am I sure after Heller that there isn't wide latitude to limit and exclude certain kinds of arms.

There is. They know it. This is just a starting negotiating position for them.

I've actually come around to thinking that it's useful to have someone like @YankeeFan here, to show how "the other side" thinks, or doesn't think. The absence of genuine argument when it comes to gun control is illuminating.

Jim Jefferies is right. The only argument for putting something like an AR-15 in civilian hands is: "Fuck off, I like guns."

Yes, they can - provided they meet stricter requirements.

The starting point is always the same, and the torrent of bad-faith rhetorical bullshit is always exhausting.
