Either he can play or he can’t.

Mayfield can play in the league IMO. He can make the throws. His arm strength and talent is plenty sufficient. But I don't ready to assume the role of a team's franchise QB or anything immediately upon being drafted. I'd want him to be in a position where he has to compete for that spot and focus on competing for it.

    Bortles getting paid.

Low enough where they could draft someone.

What does that have to do with the NFL off-season?

Goddamnit. Stupid phone surfing. But I bet he wants to boycott Blake Bortles.

Big Circus and John B. Foster like this.

Around $26M in guarantees for Bortles, so I'm guessing they might only be on the hook for 2018 and 2019 if necessary

This came out before Schefter's scoop.

RIP any completion past 15 yards unless the WR is completely wide open.

It’s 15 yards in college and doesn’t affect the game negatively at all.

I'd limit it to 15 yards for PI outside of the immediate area of the ball, but if the ball is within the area it should be a spot foul.

    What's the immediate area?
