Heck, I used to find it funny that Gabrielle Carteris was in her late 20s/early 30s when she played a high schooler.

Cute, yes. Her 90210 character was annoying,

Haha those first two seasons she could at least remotely pass for a teenager. She aged a decade in the summer between years two and three.

One thing about the Scott dying episode for me that kinda hit home, was that in, in my senior year of high school, three kids, two of whom were seniors and another who was a junior, died in three separate car crashes.

The junior was super popular, and the seniors were barely known. When the junior died, the school was semi-shutdown for the day, with kids crying and classes being devoted to more or less grief counseling sessions. (I didn't really know the kid, so I wasn't really affected, but some of my friends were).

The two seniors, who weren't in the popular group, were acknowledged with a moment of silence at the homeroom announcements, and then everyone went on with their day. I remember a couple of kids who were friends with them being upset that others were expressing sympathy now that they were dead, but that, like David said in the show, they were hypocritical because they didn't care about them when they were alive.

Scrolling through some of the IMdbs makes me wonder how tough it must be being an actor, never realizing until months (or years) later that you've played your last part. One day the phone just stops ringing.

Or, you just wait until they reboot your show and bring you back for a guest spot, like the new 90210 did with Jennie Garth.

Or, your phone finally rings and it’s the casting agent for Sharknado.

Hey, don't knock SyFy, Steve Sanders is doing his sixth Sharknado as we type.

Jennie was working again with in a year or two of 90210 ending, staring in What I Like About You, with Amanda Bynes. She looked great too.

like the kid from Parker Lewis Can't Lose. That was after the CYE-rip off web series with the kid from Married...With Children.

She really did. More recent pics make her look like she's had some work and is closing in on the too much work done zone. As for poor Amanda, is she still way off the deep end?

Related to my earlier post - I had no idea how much work there is for voice actors with video games and cartoons.

Now going down a rabbit hole, I find that Lori Loughlin, who played the Mom in the 90210 remake, is three years younger than Gabrielle Carteris.

Side note: Lori Loughlin is still incredibly beautiful and doesn’t look like she’s had any work done.
