I don't understand how Sessions, Hope Hicks and Bannon can be called before a Congressional Committee and refuse to answer "because the White House might choose at some point to claim Executive Privilege". If you are claiming EP, fine, claim it and don't talk. If you are not, you are obligated to answer on pain of Contempt of Congress charges.

So far as I'm concerned they need subpoena these guys and force the issue. This is BS. If Hillary had gone before the Benghazi committee and pulled this crap they'd have had a hissyfit.

They know these committees won’t find them in contempt so they do as they please. Nunes isn’t going charge those bozos and they know it. It’s all a show the republicans control and a bad one at that.

But... I don't like to see any right taken away without going through the constitutional process. If gun rights can be taken away this way, so can any other right.

The other thing is, we've seen societies break down. Even something temporary, like the LA riots, after the Rodney King verdict, the New Orleans hurricane/flooding, or a widespread blackout can lead to lawlessness.

The business owners in Koreatown would not have been able to protect their properties with six shooters.

It's nice to think that we can count on the police, or that our way of life will continue indefinitely, but there is no guaranty of either of these things.

Tighter gun control regulation is not taking away anybody's rights. You're just regurgitating the NRA talking points because that's what partisan hacks like you do.
