Yesterday was basically Trump hearing people talk about gun policy and spitballing the things that sounded workable to him. The thing was that he stomped all over decades worth of the gun debate out of utter ignorance of long established Republican/NRA positions. After it was over someone got in his ear and explained that to him, so today the rollback begins. Same old thing.

No wonder Pelosi was laughing as he came out for the assault weapons ban. She knew the shitstorm he was creating.
