The prohibition against cannibis is ridiculous when compared with the legalization of alcohol.

That's exactly what it is. And you can get candy, too with the edibles. They're not on every corner but they are easy to find. And it's straight cash.

In Telluride people were upset when a dispensary opened that was one of the “corporate” chains.

    Weed gone corporate.

Top Marijuana Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds

While it is still difficult to invest directly in legal pot through public equities, venture capital firms and private equity funds have raised hundreds of millions of investment dollars.

    Privateer Holdings
Famously backed by Peter Thiel’s Founder’s Fund, this private equity firm became the first in the cannabis business to cross the $100 million mark in fundraising as it closed a $40 million round last year. Since its founding in 2010, Privateer has raised $129 million according to Crunchbase. Its portfolio includes medical marijuana producer Tilray, The Goodship, which manufactures premium baked goods and candy with infused weed, Bob Marley’s marijuana brand Marley Natural and Leafly, often called the ‘Yelp’ of the pot world.

Admit it. You were expecting them to be 4-20.

And Jeffcoat had been there since 2002 and had 500-something wins. So obviously, his firing was not a decision made lightly.

It's an NAIA school, I figured it would take more to dump a coach with an 11-2 record.

Do NAIA schools normally drug-test everyone? That seems odd and very costly.

If I was the school I'd be more ticked that a coach used Twitter - whether it was a DM or not - to diss a potential recruit. I don't think coaches are even allowed to say anything about any player until an LOI is signed. Isn't it usually the kid who posts the photo of him with a coach, maybe in the college uni?

Texas Wesleyan is obviously a Christian school, so they might do it as part of a morals clause or something.
