You're ignoring the history that Trump's idea of a great deal is when he stiffs all the contractors.

Continental closed a Denver hub, and build up a Cleveland hub at one point.

But, these hubs weren’t anywhere near the size of the hub that Delta has at ATL, and it was before some major consolidation in the airline industry. Airlines have mega hubs that are much bigger than they used to be.

 

Why don't you simply explain to him why you think that airlines can move a hub instead of making fun of his job as your rejoinder? That would seem to be the more productive and effective line of response.
