Seems like this move is meant to prevent what happened a couple of years ago when South Carolina found it it wasn't in thanks to the bracket leak. Get all the bubble drama out of the way first, then drag out the bracket reveal.

My brother-in-law was in one of those once! I couldn't find the actual CBS video, but the school did a behind-the-scenes one. My mother- and father-in-law are interviewed here, too.

As I have gotten older, and my ADD has increased (an hour plus to find out who made it??), this is an eminently skippable tv event. I'll check the bracket online later Sunday afternoon (Pacific)

If they were looking at a way to make Selection Sunday's ratings crater like the Oscars, by George, they've found it!

They really need to do the brackets "Bachelor Style" and have all the bubble teams on camera when the thing is announced. Though we all know that people on the committee leak out who didn't make it ahead of time.

    Women's basketball threadjack:

UConn playing Cincinnati in the conference semifinals. Goes on a 45-5 run. Outscores Cincy 26-0 in second quarter. It's 66-11 after three quarters. UConn apparently plays 1 against 5 in the fourth quarter and gets outscored 10-9. Wins 75-21. Did I mention this is a conference tournament SEMIFINAL?

Someone needs to compile a chart with teams' record by NCAA quadrant. Has anybody seen such a thing?

UConn joining the AAC is a decision that needs to be rectified at some point.

That men's program is toast. Ultimately it's a college in a state without state income tax and located in the middle of nowhere. The Big East and Calhoun were their assets. Both are gone. At least Kevin Ollie has an NCAA championship to his name.
