Ronaldo seems to be more passionate about garbage time opportunities than any other great player. He must be just a total pain to play with.

As of today, the teams I follow are 3rd, 12th and 14th on their respective tables.

There are mid week footy matches? I never knew.

It’s so hard to keep up when Chelsea Clinton isn’t tweeting about the big matches.

I figured that Chelsea would be your favorite EPL team

I actually have been trying to get more into footy, for sports trivia purposes, but I get so overwhelmed because every player seems to play on three or four teams. Plus, the season is like 10 1/2 months long. The Chicago Fire home opener is this weekend. They just wrapped up last season on, like, Valentine's Day.

I'm not wrong about this, right? It's a really long season!

There is so much good soccer on TV each week, it's crazy. If you are trying to get into it, I'd watch the Champions League knockout matches on Fox Sports the next couple of months. That's the highest level (even above the World Cup).

Each weekend, I probably watch some or all of about 6 matches. It's hard now because I am coaching both of my kids in basketball and that takes up a lot of my Saturday time. I actually scheduled my daughter's playoff game this Saturday so that I wouldn't miss Liverpool-United

Well, if you watch different leagues, there is literally always a season going, because MLS is during our summer (and spring and fall) and the European leagues are in the winter. Plus, there are international tournaments all the time, like the World Cup or Euro or the Africa Cup of Nations (for completists only) as well as years-long qualification for those tournaments.

Being a football fan is like being a Taylor Swift fan: You don't have to look very hard for a fix.
