I'd say "House of Sand and Fog," or "Little Children."

Never saw Career Opportunities but the video for Space Age Love Song makes me want to.

From what I've heard, the music industry is the most ruthless and disposable. But the movie business seems to me to be the most random.

Why can't anyone spell 'oops' or 'whoa' correctly?

Saw 'whoops' as an expression of regret and clumsiness in the god damn print New Yorker this morning.

'Whoops' are shouts or loud cries.

    He's in the ok/some good songs/over-rated category.
Jackson Brown is in the flat-out-sucks category.

    Agreed.
If you've never read the Mitch Hedberg Wikiquote, it's a great way to waste an hour.

You must really hate him if you won't get his name right.

Browne wrote some good songs. "Pretender" is my favorite. But I dial him up only once in a while now.
