    Yeah, they’re getting robbed because 0.6 percent of their purchase could have been obtained for free.

    What does the word "guaranteed" mean in the context of a one year deal? Not incentives?

    Just because a tiny portion of the product people paid to watch on regular TV is going to Facebook doesn't make broadcasting games on Facebook any less dumb an idea.

    He doesn't have to make the roster? There have been split contracts in the past, but don't remember anything at that level.

    That wasn’t the gripe I was responding to, though.

    As for the Facebook broadcast, who knows? MLB has always been revolutionary in monetizing the Internet. It’s worth it for them to take a look.
