Yes, I think that's fair.
I have a lot of time on my hands these days.
I think I'd rather watch Bloodsport than the Mueller Investigation, even though it's the best show on TV and I am so hooked I even listen to podcasts about it while on the can.

The professionals say you should toss anything you haven't used in a calendar year.

 

I am going to guess that this is some 311 reference I should be proud not to understand. (I know what seeds and stems are, just not the context.)

My wife and I still have a whole cabinet full of VHS tapes. That includes some of my all-time favorites that I don’t own in any other formats.

Why wouldn’t you just write “...he returned, threw down another dunk and finished with 18 points.”?

 

If only there were people who edited copy before it could be approved to be published, but it seems there isn't enough money in the budget to employ such people ...
