They were responsible for the later Death Wish films as well.
Death Wish 3 is a cinematic classic and a goddamn national treasure, and I will blow up with a rocket launcher that arms 3 feet out of the barrel anyone who says otherwise.

They basically bankrolled the '80s for Charles Bronson. The final few Death Wish sequels. 10 to Midnight, Murphy's Law. Assassination (which if I recall correctly was rated PG-13 b/c it didn't involve him just killing everything in sight). I'm sure his kids and grandkids are still yielding the benefits of Dad/Grandpa churning out solid B-movie dreck.

Really surprised Bronson didn't show up in a Tarantino film. I know he was older and sick - but he had time for the Family of Cops trilogy.

I see you and raise you. I think this might have been the first movie I watched with the channel scrambled all the way through.

Nothing said 80s schlock like a spy thriller with Brandon Lee and Oscar-winner Earnest Borgnine where the good guys are Apartheid-era South Africa and the bad guys are Cubans in league with the Angolans

Never saw those, but I remember my older sister renting them. Didn't they make at least two sequels?

Did anyone see Gymkata or American Anthem and decide they wanted to be a gymnast? Ninjas were everything in the 80s
