For "security issues" I think we can read "found out he was one of Maggie Haberman's prime sources." Or maybe even one of Michael Woolf's sources.

 

This all comes from Trump not preparing to win. He had never met Tillerson before the transition and basically appears to have chosen the guy because he was the corporate titan that Trump pretends to be. Shockingly, when you have no relationship with one of your closest advisors, you might realize that the two of you don't get along.

I think that Tillerson took the job for service reasons, but you can't have every aspect of government run by people who don't understand process.

 

The whole damn White House seems to have been Woolf sources. If nothing else everyone just got used to him sitting there and all he had to do was listen.

 

This only strengthens and supports the MAL position.
