3/14. Quite possibly the greatest holiday ever created.

    3.14, blowjob/steak and Pi Day
    3.15, Ides of March
    3.16, ??
    3.17, St. Patrick's Day.

That's a nice collection of bullshit, made-up "holidays," but 3.16 is not pulling its weight. Consequently, in honor of MLB's last 30-game winner, who went 31-6 in 1968, I proclaim 3.16 to be Denny McClain Day. Go forth on this day and embezzle, along with a lot of other nefarious shit.

I know that passage: God so loved the world that he gave us blowjobs and steaks.

Yeah, St. Patrick’s Day only dates back to the 1600s.
And the Ides only go back to ancient Rome.
    Just BS, made up stuff.

Steak, then pie, then the BJ.

Sounds like a winner to me!

This is the real winner. 3.16 is the pregame for 3.17.

Interesting that the Romans didn't really number the days of the month as we do. The Ides just referred to the general mid-point of the month. Every month had its Ides.
In the early Roman calendar, March was the first month, so the Ides of March were tied to a lot of religious ceremonies.
Among those religious elements, the Ides of March was important to Jupiter, and Caesar was a former flamen dialis.
And of course, we remember the Ides of March now because of Caesar's assassination, although he was not flamen dialis when he was killed and had not held that office for a long time.
