As a Browns fan, I'd say Joe Thomas made watching the Browns palatable all these years, but he played left tackle. And these are the Browns. So even he couldn't. Watching Joe Thomas operate on the Browns was like seeing a Dodge Omni with a Mercedes-Benz steering wheel.

Farewell, Joe. You deserved much better.

Joe Thomas played every snap and then he never played another one.

Is Thomas the best player of the super bowl era never to have played in a playoff game?

Overrated, if he was that good he’d have a ring.

Do you guys actually evaluate line play to determine he was a cut above?

I watched him 16 times a year keep some of the sorriest quarterbacks who have ever played in the NFL untouched from the edge for a decade, complete destruction all around him while he stood there like a lighthouse.

    He was a cut above.

Robinson was a guy the Eagles got way more than they expected from last season. He turned out to be a key piece in their Super Bowl season.

AJ was worth a 2nd and 3rd a year ago to the Browns - who opted for Tyrod Taylor instead for just a third. I'm guessing Nick Foles isn't going anywhere - at least before the draft.
