She's a conservative. Conservatives believe in corporal punishment, at least in schools, so it's not a large stretch to think she's OK with kicking dogs.

 

Wondering what got Trump to finally enact the sanctions. Was it the poisonings in England? Another slap at our intelligence vs. theirs, perhaps?

He did not enact the sanctions that the Senate passed 98-2. Those would hit Putin and his close allies. The Treasury Dept. has sanctioned the 17 people in Mueller's indictment, plus three "entities", including the IRA, the Russian government group who was the major player in the hacking.

I'm hoping that Mueller is building a RICO case against the Trump Organization. The story may just be breaking, but the subpoena was issued 2-3 weeks ago. No wonder that Trump has been so angry and erratic of late.
