I love Bama’s roster construction strategy of just rolling out a bunch of interchangeable lanky athletes, but god, they commit some of the most mind-boggling turnovers I’ve ever seen.

You’re watching the wrong game, my friend.

Nonsense. These teams run up and down the court fast. I was told this is how basketball was meant to be played.

All these teams keep showing their East Coast bias against the Pac-12. That league deserved five opening losses, not three!

I don't think anyone said the Pac-12 was very good this year. It wasn't.

UB was underseeded, which may now work in its favor. They haven't missed Hurley at all, even with the players he took with him to ASU.

And now Arizona can await probation.

I take back all my whining from earlier in the week about the lack of respect for the Pac 12. It should be a one-invite league like the mid major it has become.

Arizona just learned how hard it is to win when you cannot rebound or shoot from outside.

Wish WNY could sweep the day but St. Bonaventure isn’t going to get back into this.

That's the first Arizona game I've really watched, and all I can say is, if that's the best team in the Pac 12, then I totally get why the Pac-12 only got three teams in this tourney.

Jeez, what a miserable tourney for that conference. Only three members get in, and all three crap the bed in the first round.

Surprisingly, that was not the largest margin of victory ever for a 13-seed. Navy beat LSU by 23 in 1985.
Perhaps more surprisingly, it's the ninth time in 27 13 vs. 4 upsets that the 13-seed has won by double digits. Seven of those have been by 13 points or more. Would have expected that number to be much, much lower.
For comparison's sake, only three of the 29 combined 15 vs. 2 and 14 vs. 3 upsets have been by double digits.

I've got you beat. I covered a team in the state semifinals. Tie game, last minute. Our team's opponent worked the ball for their star to get a backdoor layup with 3 seconds left. While he was styling to the crowd, the team I was covering took a quick inbounds to their best shooter, who took three dribbles and threw up a 66-foot prayer that banked off the backboard and into the basket as time expired. The coach later said he specifically told his guys not to call time out if the other team scored, so as not to give the defense time to get set. They went on to win state two days later.
