Running 2018 college rings postseason thread

I think that Navy being seeded 13th was a mistake given David Robinson was on the team.

 

I've been watching the tournament since I was 9 or 10.

Outside of Villanova '85, Buffalo's 21-point win over Arizona is probably the most shocking score I've ever seen.

 

Why?
ASU and UCLA already previewed that the conference Arizona plays in was garbage. They beat stiffs all year. Arizona has tons of turmoil.
Nothing looked shocking watching that game.

 

Y’all need to stop dumping on the PAC 12–we all know the 2016 USC football team would have won this tournament had it been invited.

 

Because it's still BUFFALO and it's still Arizona. A 13-4 upset is one thing. A 13-4 trashing by 21 points is a quite another.

 

When you pee in Las Cruces, it ends up in the Gulf of Mexico; the town is east of the Continental Divide.

 

There are a million things to rip Bayless over, but it's not like he didn't have a lot of company backing Arizona in the NCAA tournament.

I never understood the Arizona love going into this tournament. Miller openly bitched to the media that he was having issues with getting this team to buy in during the season. And speaking of Miller, can we all agree now that he's the Jim Harbaugh of college basketball? Whole lotta sizzle with not much steak.

For all my hand-wringing about UVA’s draw, it kind of cracked me up that people saying “Tony Bennett will lose to Arizona because he doesn’t win in March” were then backing, of all coaches, Sean Miller. (Fully recognizing that UVA could lose to Kentucky or Buffalo, or before that, or even that Zona could have beaten UVA and still not gone to the Final Four.)
