If I had to choose just one condiment for life, it would be mayonnaise. It can do everything that ketchup can do, such as provide a delicious accompaniment for fries, but it can do things that ketchup can't do, such as provide a delicious accompaniment for a turkey sandwich or BLT.

    Come at me, @SpeedTchr.

For most sandwiches mayonnaise. Overall definitely hot sauce, I go with my buddy's homemade.

If I never had mayo to put on a sandwich again I wouldn't be missing anything. It's good bur not necessary for a good sandwich. Mustard is where it's at. Good on roast beef, turkey, chicken, hot dogs, burgers, dressings, marinades, pork chops and the list goes on. Mustard is royalty in condiments.

If mayo is Queen, I hope it ends up like Marie Antoinette.

Mayo is the stupidest fucking food stuff -- along with peanut butter.

Can't have mustard on roast beef or turkey has to be mayo. Mustard > mayo on ham or corned beef. Can't have mustard on fries. Hot sauce for me is like mustard to Spart Sq, sometimes it's better than tartar sauce on fish sticks. For fish and chips hot sauce works for both.

Mustard on roast beef is a crime against humanity.

I would be disowned by my father if I ever disparaged hot sauce. Tabasco and habanero sauce are as ubiquitous at family dinners as salt and pepper and used more often.

Because I love you all, here is the only mayonnaise you will ever want or need. It comes from Japan.

    Kewpie.

    You're welcome.

Before clicking and enlarging that pic it looked like motion lotion. even after enlarging it looked like motion lotion, not sure I'm putting
    that on a sandwich.

I feel like I just stepped on the ketchup-on-steak third rail. But a deli-sliced roast beef sandwich with a little mustard is pretty good. Salty roast beef with a little spiciness from the mustard ...
