Interest in NBA seems to very high among Xers and Boomers I know.
Of course, people I associate with now are largely Ws fans.
If I was still back East hanging out with Knick and Sixers fans, probably not so much.

As a Knick fan, this Xer feels a deep, painful void.

Dwight had 32 points and 30 rebounds last night. First player to do that since Moses in '82.

Did anyone have the 30 rebounds without the 30 points?

Howard only eighth player to do it.
Only second to do it on a Wednesday.

I don't know but I love the Michael Cage story ... when he was a Clipper, final night of the regular season, he needed a ton of rebounds to win the rebounding title and he grabbed something like 35 that night to win it.

Could Michael Cage play in today's NBA?

It's not a music video to get @Slacker all hot 'n' juicy but it'll suffice.

Would have to imagine Rodman did.

Only two active players have 30-rebound games. The other is Kevin Love, who had 31 (with 31 points) in 2010.

Millennials like opaque, mercurial-seeming celebrities, and the NBA is full of passive-aggressive fashion icons who also shoot a basketball well. NBA stars are liberal-y, ESPN likes them, they talk about current social issues that millennials say they care about on social media...good stuff.

The WWE is big with them, too, right? Because it's so fake it's really an authentic commentary on the nature of sport?

True story: I was watching Ugly Delicious for a couple episodes, then stopped watching because it wasn't really about food, but merely pretentious young men cursing about food, and, in episode 2, about tacos, we have this gem of an observation in the VO: "Understanding that tacos are a great food to eat doesn't take anything other than eating tacos."

Nothing, really. There was just a period where they were an affectation for that particular generation. I remember seeing Berkeley students reading them in bars. Come on.
