It takes generations of proper inbreeding of the Duke types to get the appropriate mix of smug satisfaction, propensity for goofy haircuts and alabaster white skin.

Grayson's one on one move to win the game in regulation looked like something out of the 35 - over league at the YMCA.

Then the other guy (Duvall?) just blows by people at the beginning of overtime.

Yes, pretty perfect end to his career. He was by far the worst player Duke had on the floor tonight, but was absolutely convinced it was his time to play hero ball.

Meanwhile, over in the women's tournament, there won't be a seed lower than 2 in the Final Four.

Iā€™m all for not calling a TO ā€” but how about running a play. That screen with Allen going right was a money set in the second half.

I fully expect the defending national champions to lose by 22 tonight.

No. They lost by 25 at home less than two months ago in their only meeting this season.

You know UConn is not the defending champion? Right?

Mizzou's Michael Porter Jr. entering the NBA draft. He played about 50 minutes all season after that back injury knocked him out two minutes into the season opener. He doesn't leave much of an on-court legacy, but his signing helped raise the program's profile and led to players like Tilmon deciding to go to Mizzou.

Whether Mizzou has changed perceptions of the program going forward is up for debate. Reckon we'll see how good Cuonzo Martin and his staff are at recruiting top-level players to Columbia.
