    I have it on good authority that The Athletic is coming to Denver. No surprise. I hinted at this weeks ago. Somewhat big names, Denver-wise, joining the ranks. Though Plaige not in the group I've heard.

    David Migoya had a tweet about this today, naming names who were bolting the Post for The Athletic. Don't remember them, but they seemed to be monster hires.

    Nick Kosmider was also on the Broncos beat for the Post, leaving it high and dry. Groke was on the Rockies beat, leaving only Patrick Saunders.

    The headline seems kind of misleading. Her tweet was pretty clearly in response to someone from the Athletic saying that was the goal. It wasn’t as though she out of nowhere started attacking the company, and it wasn’t as though she was interpreting their actions to arrive at her conclusion—it was what somewhat from the company said.
