I really hope they do not give the title to Jax. I understand she can play the monster type, but it would be so annoying to see her hold the Women’s title on Raw.

I may have missed a match then I was going 9 title matches plus Cena plus Bryan for my 11 plus two battle royals. Yeah plus Ronda is actually 12.

    Sheeeeeeesh

I may be the only one, but I actually do not mind when there is ten-plus matches. There were a total of nine matches at Wrestlemania 1.

Out of curiosity, what do you believe is a good amount?

Whatever they can reasonably fit in 4-5 hours. Eight or 10 maybe? That gives 30 minutes for most matches, including introductions and postmatch, with two more on the preshow. The problem they're running into is they want to add more matches while still giving all of them a 20-30 minute footprint, and the show is swelling to six or seven hours.
I'm willing to watch for four hours for a major show like Wrestlemania, but six hours plus is too much of a good thing.

Five hours for a major show is fine, as long as there is a bathroom break somewhere (meaningless concert, a midcard talk show segment.).

Styles/ Nakamura could go 45 minutes. The mixed tag match really shouldn't go longer than 10. Nobody wants to see Trips/Angle slog on for 20 minutes.

Seven hours is way too much

I would be fine with her holding the belt. The storyline has been quite good. That said, a scenario where Bliss gets DQed or cheats to win could further the storyline along.

    As for the Bryan/Zayn/KO match...

Sami gets hurt early in the match and is helped to the back by officials and doctors. A few minutes later, out comes Bryan's tag partner...

Seeing a card like that makes me wish they would steal Shoemaker's idea of making it a two-night thing. That's just way too much shit for one night.

Yeah I dont really care how many matches as long as its not running from 4 pm to 11 pm. Its just impossible to devote that much attention to it. And the gaga segments with the legends and celebs become so annoying and rage inducing after 8-9 pm when I feel like I know theres still a zillion matches

Pacing the show becomes so important when theyre going over 6 hours and theyre not always very good at that. I’m having nightmeres about the dead slow psychological thriller Trips and Reigns tried to stage after the Rock was out singing for 45 minutes at 32.

I mean 7 of the 9 at WM1 were under 10 minutes. Last year only 2 were and one of thos was “because goldberg”

They should have Taker’s and Cena’s entrance on the preshow and have the actual match later in the night ;).

Also Trips' and Steph's. Do we really need another 10 minute entrance where Steph talks about how evil they are?

The latest Mania match WWE added to YouTube. Love the Batista Bomb into an RKO spot, and it's still sick that Orton landed his back right onto a monitor that was apparently underneath the Spanish announce table.
