    Shorts on athletes that were, well, short (see, I don't just bitch about Emma Gonzalez).

    Phillies' 70s logo and uniforms with the curved numbers and large stripe down the side.

    Few enough teams that I actually knew who the coaches/managers are.

    Stadiums/arenas that didn't change names every few years.
