I never said anyone was advocating unregulated gun ownership. The NRA does oppose any proposed legislation that would regulate gun ownership. The only reason they aren't going after more of the existing regulations is that is a fight even they can't win.

The NRA supports background checks, you dolt. Stick to fantasy baseball.

The NRA gives lip service to the existing gun control legislation that it can't defeat. The dolt is the person who actually believes in what they shovel out there.

They also sometimes make noises about budging on new legislation or enforcement of existing legislation, like they did after the shooting in Las Vegas, but that's just to cover their asses until the noise dies down. Were you stupid enough to buy that, too?
