I'll sometimes post my runs, but it's more a "because I can" impulse.

"Garmin's app makes it possible to share? Cool!"

Cross-fitters are the most obnoxious about sharing their workouts. But I have to keep in mind that they are posting for each other, because that whole culture is about the supportive environment, and it extends from "the box" to social media.

Have not read the thread but my quick though is, it's ok to post them in a group, you would then have to click on it to see them all. If they are doing it one at a time you could even give them a helpful suggestion that it would be easier for everyone to see them if she grouped them together. I have a sister in law who posts memes mostly. I have started to hide all posts from the meme creators so I won't get future posts from them (via her) and can still see family pics. honestly, I think it will never end.

Crossfit photos are always the first sign that an old friend is getting a divorce. They stop posting photos with the wife... post photos of themselves with a stupid kettleball, or something... and six months later, vacation photos with the new girlfriend.

53 more photos in the last hour.

I do think she fancies herself as a bit of a travel journalist for her friends.

My style is generally to post an album upon return from the vacation, mostly so it shows up in my FB memories every now and again. It's a fun reminder of my kids at certain ages, etc. I don't like to waste the time posting them while I'm on vacation, and I'm also paranoid that someone will see that we're not home and break into the house or something.

My wife has a friend who has four kids and yet she posts photos of she and her husband on trips around the world at least once a month (occasionally more frequently). They're usually accompanied with a statement like, "Much needed vacation time!" or "Just me and the hubs for once!" She also travels extensively for work, which makes us wonder when the hell she ever sees her daughters.

They didn't stop, you're just not friends with 20-year-olds anymore. At least, you probably shouldn't be.

ok, read it. I guess along with the pictures are those memes. "always value your so and so relative, soon they will be dead" or the young moms who post the "being a mom is a hard job and no generation has had it so tough" or the "you are strong! nobody can tell yo what to do" bla bla bla. ok, I get it you are a perfect mom and no one is nicer than you! Just stop telling me everyday.

In a bunch or separate posts?

Two separate posts, from two locations.

Thankfully, I’m friends with a lot of current and former journalists who know how to edit their fucking takes before posting photos.

Nah, I do have younger cousins and in-laws and young people switched to Instagram and Snapchat a long time ago. Even younger people are probably on to something I don't even know about.

I like the obligatory shot from the recliner on the beach showing the ocean in the background and only the lower legs/feet of the shooter in the foreground.

A favorite among overweight people.
