A nasty old man who is losing his faculties more rapidly by the day. As Alex Burns of the Times noted, it's striking how the Republicans in Congress, let alone the Democrats, just ignore these ravings.

Pere Ubu forgets he enjoys a majority in both houses.

    Still can't make a deal.

The most ridiculous part of all of this. The number of illegal Mexicans peaked 11 years ago. By a lot. The dropoff coincides with our economy slowing and Mexico's getting dramatically better. At the same time, the idiots in his ear are feeding the line that Mexico is ripping us off on NAFTA. I am not a fan of NAFTA, but because it isn't ACTUAL free trade. But just working from Trump's framework, when you add it all up you have: 1) He wants to build a wall to choke off an illegal immigration deluge that peaked 11 years ago. 2) And at the same time, he wants to end an agreement that created a Mexico that made it so that people didn't want to come to the U.S. as badly.

Someone pro NAFTA could argue way more logically that NAFTA was the wall.

When he says "Nuclear Option," I hope he is speaking metaphorically.

It sounds more forceful than double-secret probation.

Trump's preferred immigration legislation got 39 votes in the Senate last time. There's no option around that.

But only if the entire Russian delegation stays at the new Trump hotel in DC, right?
