Not like he tore into disco but if i was hhh i wouldnt be psyched that Cody keeps saying Trips told him to be happy playing his role and staying in his lane.

And the stuff his sister said in the ringer piece about treating the nxt roster like Dustys kids while treating Dustys actual kids like crap wasnt nice

Plus the cease and desist and how much H allegedly hates the Bucks.

Codys a pros pro my previous post prob made a mountain out of a mole hill but I could see where it might not be smooth sailing

Gotcha. I think he'll be back in the WWE at some point, and he'll shoot to the top of the roster when he comes back. I can imagine they'll work some of the stuff that he's said into promos.

If only they could've gotten Elias or Braun Strowman.

If this can happen, then Cody Rhodes can come back to WWE one day.

This needs to happen at his induction.

It is bugging anyone else than the Charlotte/Asuka and Shin/AJ builds are basically the same?

No personal issue just kind of “you know they’re both awesome so the match should be, get excited its all for respect.”

I fully plan to enjoy both matches but I suppose this is why Vince hates babyface on babyface crime

I think a big issue with both is the language barrier. Asuka and Shin are basically saying the same catchphrases over and over. You can't cut a long promo with them. And most WWE rivalries are built with promos. So without that, all they have to build on is, "Look, these matches are going to be amazing."

A manager for one or both would go a long way. That or you do some scripted sit-down interviews through a translator.

Is it the language? Or lazy story telling?

Both had no problems having compelling rivalries in NXT. Shins feud with Joe and Asuska, yes playing mini heel shes not allowed to play here, with Moon made me care way more about the winner and the story. Maybe its just a lot easier to mask the language on the small scale?

With AJ and Charlotte its just “well this should be cool” but I dont really care who wins. I dont feel invested in it.

I think they force the promos more on the big shows than they do on NXT, and they feel the promos have to be a back-and-forth. So you get Shins and AJ in the ring, and all Shins ends up saying is "Knee to face." Same with Charlotte and Asuka, but all you get is "No one is ready for Asuka!" I think the shorter show for NXT helps too. You could go two weeks without actually showing Joe and Shins and it wasn't a big deal, or just show one of them. But you can't get away with that when the shows are two and three hours long.

Charlotte and Asuka also are hindered by being on different shows.
