What are you drinking right now?

Wife and I were in Mendocino County this weekend so we swung by the North Coast Brew Company. They had a Mexican lager as a seasonal which was very good. Rather smooth and not too heavy to drink. Went back for their Old No. 38 stout. Also tasty but was a little more filling after a day of wine tasting. Next time I'm up this way I really want to try their Brother Thelonious Belgian ale. It's a 9.4 or something like that. Just too many beers to try and I always get distracted.

 

Coconut Water. Told its good for rehydration and doesn't taste bad (better than soft drink too.)

 

Black coffee with a shot of Kahlua in it.

 

Stagg Jr. bourbon on the rocks with a couple dashes of cherry bitters.

 

Havana Club rum and coke.

Havent had it since it was on special in college and me and roommate bought like five cases.

 

Staying with my father-in-law in rural Canada, so I’m on a steady diet of Keith’s.

 

Founder's KBS. Heard some saying it's a little thin or watery this year. Have to disagree, the bourbon may not be not as prominent as the
last few years but its very smooth and very good. Thanks to my buddy for getting a case that we split. Lot of stores limit it to 2 or 4 bottles per
person so it was good to not have to go to 3 different stores.

 

My wife has been drinking this and bought a case of it. She told me to try it.
It tasted like the soiled toilet water from a dive bar bathroom.

 

Well, at least you can laugh about it now ...

 

Shades of my 7th-grade homeroom art teacher, Mr. Johnson. Started every class with coffee and Kahlua.

 

I've ordered it in bars and been brought coffee, kahlua, and cream in a tall glass. Ecch. I learned to ask for a mug of coffee with a shot of kahlua in it. Wonderful for the morning after as you try to crawl out of the primordial ooze, or to drink on the porch early on a lazy day.
