FWIW, they were advertising for a June house show in my area during Raw. It seemed to be a Raw house show. The main events were Reigns-Joe and Rollins-Balor-Miz for the IC title, if that's any kind of insight to what might happen next week.

OK Raw, I guess. Liked the Lashley return, although it was depressing that it came during that Elias segment where he was on fire. Miz was wonderful as usual. Did he not actually cheat again? That's intriguing, like whether it's a long con or if he actually is going to turn face at some point. And, I kind of think they should have just had Jeff Hardy return as Brother Nero, if instead he's just going to do tag matches anyway.

Always the most thrilling moment of the year but man, I wonder who's left for Smackdown Live Tuesday night. Obviously, they've kept Andrade "Cien" Almas for that but who else will join him? I had read that James Storm was in the New Orleans area today so could they be tempted to reunite Beer Money? Perhaps SAnitY and the Iconic Duo as well?

    "Card subject to change."

    Always remember this.

In early 90s, I went to a WWF house show. Most of the matches were going to have predictable results, but I decided to go anyways. The one match that intrigued me was Crush vs Nailz. Both guys were getting pushed at that time.

But, as show begins, ring announcer says Crush is not there, so facing Nailz was ... Virgil.

    Yep.

The day is here. I won't be able to watch live, but I cannot wait to see this.

On Monday, The Ringer had a good pod with Simmons and the director of the film. About his complicated personal life, debunking some of the legends, etc. There's also about 10 minutes at the end about how difficult Chris Webber was for their previous doc collaboration, The Fab Five.

MMA fan dropping in here. Wanted to get the wrestling fans' general attitude toward Ronda Rousey. From what I've heard, she did surprisingly well on Sunday but still should probably stay off the mic, neither of which surprises me.

I was happy to see her leave MMA. She was a bully and a sore loser. But it sounds like she has found her niche a little better with the WWE.

So is she a good addition to the roster?

The only thing that gives me pause about the Andre doc is that Hehir has directed two of the weaker 30 for 30s — The Fab Five and The 85 Bears. He also directed the unaired Kevin Johnson doc.

But it should be better than the Flair doc, which was pretty "meh."

It's too early to tell, because she's still a special attraction who hasn't worked at all yet with the main roster. She did well when she had three of the all-time greats to work the promo end and carry the match in the ring. They've protected her so far, but eventually she's going to have to segue into regular feuds. How well she does once she starts having to go 10 minutes with Naomi on a random August episode of Raw is going to be interesting.

You never know, but I'm thinking almost every wrestler who has worked a match in the past 20 years was in the New Orleans area this weekend doing something.

I agree that it's too early to tell, but I'd think she'd have more of a Lesnar schedule than a regular roster sked. I doubt she'll be on random Raws with Naomi.
